I have been teaching music and enjoying my students and their families for 38 years. I have an A A degree in music and also attended UCLA for 1 year. I have privately studied with Ann Moore and Giana Pirelli, who was Director of the Music Department at Valley college and a concert pianist. Living in France for 4 years, Africa for 2 years and New York 2 years and other travels has given me experiences that I bring into my teaching. I teach piano performance, music history, theory and composition. Last year I had 36 students compose, perform and record an original composition. I am VERY PROUD of my students achievements and am very excited to be part of the music staff at Music Lessons Central! Val Freeland
